So, what do we think of the New York Times' new pricing plan? $15 a month for full access; you get 20 articles free and following links from Facebook, twitter, etc. to articles is free. How soon until there is a dedicated Facebook page with links to all articles?

I'd have signed up for $5 a month. If I lived alone I'd probably cancel cable and give them $15, but as it stands I am not sure.

Well, there's a transforming plush coelacanth, but I don't like it.

My son has one of those. He likes it. I'm not sure how well it teaches the concept of evolution, however.

In other words, a nuclear fission chain reaction could start in a pond that lies outside parts of the building designed to contain radioactive materials.

I believe in paying something for good, disinterested, investigative journalism; I just think $15 is too much. I did get an email with the pricing structure and with the free 20, etc, it's not so bad.
