Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can I go home now? I think I can go home now.

Also, today I broke my watch. But it was a free watch, and it was only the loop thingy thingy. Still, stupid watch broke.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Can I go home now? I think I can go home now.

What Would Gandalf Say: "Fly, you fools!"

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I say yes, ita.

In fact, I think we all should. Raise your hands if you are tired of working and getting stuff done.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

All the name talk finally did it to me:

Privacy is my middle name, my last name is control.
No, my first name ain't baby. It's Janet. Miss Jackson if you're nasty!

I am done with getting stuff done, and have had a drink with coworkers, so that's good.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Did it hurt?

Jilli, my deep condolences on the loss of your mom.

I'm mimicking Sophia this evening. I should not be allowed to use sharp knives. It's new, and I've used it once, thinking now don't slip and cut yourself, this is a sharp one. Sure enough. But I have bandaids and medical tape, which is what I'm using to get it to stop bleeding.

Asstastic day at work. I think I need to apologize to some folk for my crankiness the past couple of weeks. I had to deliberately coach myself to not ask can we tell them to just go fuck themselves? about several groups. Since I got in so early, I could have left at 4. Hell, I could have left at 3, I had more than enough hours. But noooooo. Stupid shit came up and I did some of it, and then informed my boss that there was stuff undone, but I was going home.

And the pool was crazy. One guy crashed into me TWICE and then there was the idiot who came into the lane and kept getting in front of people and stopping to talk to his buddy in the main part of the pool. I deliberately clobbered him in getting around him 3 times before he took the hint. Which, bad form. Although I got an underwater high five from one of the other guys sharing the lane.

You can get lost in there for weeks!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Quit cutting yourselves, people!

Follow Jesse's example of slacking off and getting drunk.
