All the name talk finally did it to me:
Privacy is my middle name, my last name is control.
No, my first name ain't baby. It's Janet. Miss Jackson if you're nasty!
I am done with getting stuff done, and have had a drink with coworkers, so that's good.
Jilli, my deep condolences on the loss of your mom.
I'm mimicking Sophia this evening. I should not be allowed to use sharp knives. It's new, and I've used it once, thinking
now don't slip and cut yourself, this is a sharp one.
Sure enough. But I have bandaids and medical tape, which is what I'm using to get it to stop bleeding.
Asstastic day at work. I think I need to apologize to some folk for my crankiness the past couple of weeks. I had to deliberately coach myself to not ask
can we tell them to just go fuck themselves?
about several groups. Since I got in so early, I could have left at 4. Hell, I could have left at 3, I had more than enough hours. But noooooo. Stupid shit came up and I did some of it, and then informed my boss that there was stuff undone, but I was going home.
And the pool was crazy. One guy crashed into me TWICE and then there was the idiot who came into the lane and kept getting in front of people and stopping to talk to his buddy in the main part of the pool. I deliberately clobbered him in getting around him 3 times before he took the hint. Which, bad form. Although I got an underwater high five from one of the other guys sharing the lane.
My mind, she is blown.
You can get lost in there for weeks!
Quit cutting yourselves, people!
Follow Jesse's example of slacking off and getting drunk.
Art Deco FTW.
ita is me. And I say she goes home!
Not drunk! Just the one glass of wine. And I am thinking about how to use my mandoline for the first time this weekend -- any suggestions? But I will not drink beforehand.
any suggestions?
Try to remember there's a difference between your food and your fingers?
Also, bandaids
Good thing I didn't go home yet, since the boss came by to talk to me and I vented at him about the asstasticness of the entire process. (This is my immediate supervisor, not the division chief who is partly responsible for the whole mess.)
And now I've missed the 4:45 bus.
