Fortune cookie says, "A clever crow will always paint its feather black." Any idea what this means?
'Not Fade Away'
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Drugs are bad, m'kay?

It's an advertisement for a new product called "Just For Birds".
Phooey, Sparky. Hoping she shows up at the other one.
So I'm going out to meet up with a girl in a bit. Man, these "let's meet up! Right now!" things are kind of funny. Laid back NOLA, I guess. Also, one of the people I'm messaging with is a pre-op transwoman, which would be a new experience for me. That's not who I'm meeting with tonight, though.

Google say, "Cookie sentiment from fable about crow and peacock." [link]
Pythagoras has found his way into the bedroom (from which cats are banned) and onto the bed. The Girl is freaking out. I love these cats - so much less boredom in my life now.
I'm so loving living in the Discworld over these last weeks. I've used my ipod more than its previous 4 years combined!
Heh. It's much fun. I'm reading Unseen Academicals at the moment. It worries me that he's satirised the academic world perfectly. Not least the eternally-lit candle that the administrative people have to relight all the time.
I'm coming to the end of the Witches series, currently on Wee Free Men. I wish there were Feegles in the Watch.
I can never decide if I prefer the Witches books or the Death books. Granny Weatherwax and Susan are my heroines.
ETA: Health~ma for your brother, erika. It's definitely worth getting a skin rash and muscle aches checked out. I have psoriasis which can have those effects, and there are lots of other things too.
A bird flew into my house and I'm not sure it's gone. I chased it all over the house while it kept bypassing open doors to slam itself on windows. I lost track of it not far from an open door, but I didn't see it go out. It's not making any noise.

Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg are definitely my heroes. But I love the Watch just as much. I can now recite "Where is my Cow" from memory!
Right now, I'm listening to The Truth. Honestly, whatever he satirizes...in this case, the media...Pratchett pings perfectly. He's as seemingly omniscient as Granny Weatherwax.
Next up is I Shall Wear Midnight, the last of the Tiffany Aching novels. I'm hoping for Feegles.
Best conversation opener ever: I had a bad day yesterday, I got accused of flirting with a midget.
From my mother.
Lots of health~ma for erika's brother.
Lots of WTH for Vortex's mother.
