The Arizona state Senate on Thursday passed a bill making it illegal for a person to “intentionally or knowingly creating a human-animal hybrid.”
I would have some concern this might make it illegal to do some research with say splicing in a human gene into a mouse embryo. But the other stuff makes it sound like that isn't what they are targeting. Which, okay, don't know that it's really an issue, but I can't say I have any objection.
I can't say I have any objection.
Sure, that's what you say
now,
but wait until you realize your world-domination plans will depend on having an army of hybrid human/emperor penguin stormtroopers....
Would it count as a human animal hybrid if I just had them splice in a prehensile tail?
Also, would that be forbidden under the Arizona law?
“intentionally or knowingly creating a human-animal hybrid.”
But accidentally making one is ok? Good to know.
Also? all furry conventions should go to AZ now just to stir shit up.
No prehensile tail. It's hard enough to keep up with all the ragged hems and shed buttons; I'm not altering all your pants.
Also, check your email in a couple minutes, please.
Also? all furry conventions should go to AZ now just to stir shit up.
Would dressing in an Ocelot outfit be reasonably suspicious in terms of immigration status?
all furry conventions should go to AZ now just to stir shit up.
Just to be safe, they should be prepared to show their papers on demand.
But accidentally making one is ok? Good to know.
I was just going to say the same thing.
Next on the agenda for AZ - making sex illegal except for procreational purposes.
