Didn't LotR fandom have the woman who was psychically married to one of the hobbits? (Or, rather, the actor who played one of the hobbits?)
As crazy as Twilight fandom seems, it's hard to top "psychically married to one of the actors."

Note: VB is male, but previously identified as female before coming out as transgendered (FTM). The personal pronouns in this entry have been amended accordingly.

She was, though, (or identified as such) when it all started, wasn't she?
Heck, I got the "psychic marriage" thing wrong, too, so I'm not the most reliable source of LotR wacko fandom info.

Yeah.
I get confused on whether gender identity should be backdated in cases like this....

It was helpful for me, I just popped the link open and skimmed for a few seconds. The contrast between names and pronouns was confusing.
