Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

When I was in elementary school, I remember that whenever there was an early school closing for snow, the kids whose parents couldn't pick them up would go home with other kids. There was definitely some sort of system for how it worked, so that every kid would have somewhere to go and every parent would know where their kid was, but I don't remember what the system was. I just remember that, whenever there was an early dismissal for snow, my mom would pick up me and at least one or two other kids, and we'd play in the snow in the backyard or go sledding until their mothers came to pick them up.

In today's edition of "Get Scola a Life", do I want to go to this or this tonight?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Um... OK then.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'd go to the second, Tom.

Ah, zeitgeist: OK Cupid makes the case for men to date older women, with data.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I vote the second. Although they both sound cool.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Most of the messages I get on OK Cupid are from twentysomethings. And I say, "you know I'm a fat old lady, right?"

Heh.

You need to turn your irony-o-meter way, way up when you read that, tommyrot.

For other interesting things to do in Brooklyn, may I also suggest these folks: [link] A friend of mine is involved.

See, if I went to that I'd be afraid there'd be audience participation, and they'd make me hold a monkey.

DO NOT WANT.
