Xander: We just saw the zebras mating! Thank you, very exciting... Willow: It was like the Heimlich, with stripes!

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2009: So long and thanks for all the fish.

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2009? Don't think we've forgotten about you

OMG, Sail - you total rock star!!! So I have this gorgeous wee bag from the Met filled with hilariously fabulous Harlequins with shocking pink edged pages, and taglines like: "Dangerous Dames! Exotic Romps! Cold-blooded murder - 1950s Style!" and artwork that has to be seen to be believed.

A. Dor. Able!!!!

(Also, See's Candies? Made of yum!)

Ahem. I have finally posted my present to my poor, patient, doubtless disgruntled Santee. It should take a fortnight to get there (I'm sorry! But I would have had to sell a kidney for the 3 day service, and provided unspeakable sexual favours AND robbed a bank AND invented a time machine for the back-in-time-to-when-it-wasn't-late service.)

So, um...if you haven't received a gift yet, brave heart! It might be because I suck. (But thanks to Sail, I'm trying to keep my sucking to See's Candy lollipops instead.)

P.S.

Not dead! Just very very very dark charcoal grey.

I'm glad everything got there, Fay! Don't forget, book reports!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have been remiss, Kat sent me the other part of my present (you may recall the awesome spice package!) and it was CHEESE and FUDGE. I haven't been home long enough to enjoy either of these goodies, but I look forward to it.

Mama, she is busy these days. Feh.

Whew! I'm glad it got there, Vortex! I was worried that it had disappeared in the snowpacolypse. The monks make good stuff (a coworker got us some and the bourbon fudge is to die for). Enjoy!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

FWIW, I am a delayed Slacker Sekrit Santa. I get my first paycheck since October at the beginning of March, so whoever my Lucky Recipient is will be getting his/her giftage after that.

See, you're making me feel better about my slackerdom there, love! (Although granted, my only reason for slacking off in posting was...being a slacker.)

Also: YAY FOR YOUR PAYCHECK-HAVING-NESS!!!!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm hoping I don't get my gift until after I've sent out mine. I'll feel less guilty.

I'm blaming my slackage on being snowed in and/or depressed all winter.

Is slack really a word? Slack. Slacks. Slacking wearing slacks. Slack slack slack. Spock's cousin Slack. Slacky-back. Slack bin Walla. Lickety-slack. Sleeslacks: reptilian bipeds who don't give a damn about Marshall, Will, or Holly.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I just wanted to mention that, according to the vote that passed back in November, this thread will close at the end of March, AND (perhaps more significantly), "As of the last day of February, any ungifted Santa or Slacker Santa giftees will have the option to throw their names back into the pool to be gifted by other volunteers, which will be a way for people who found themselves unable to gift for one reason or another to bow out gracefully and for everyone to get closure on the year without the thread going on for months."

FYI.

t edit I'm mentioning it because today IS the last day of February, despite the fact that that doesn't seem possible.

Our wings are not tired.

If it's needed, I can volunteer to take someone's gift on. I had fun choosing Aimee's!!
