I'm hoping I don't get my gift until after I've sent out mine. I'll feel less guilty.
I'm blaming my slackage on being snowed in and/or depressed all winter.
Is slack really a word? Slack. Slacks. Slacking wearing slacks. Slack slack slack. Spock's cousin Slack. Slacky-back. Slack bin Walla. Lickety-slack. Sleeslacks: reptilian bipeds who don't give a damn about Marshall, Will, or Holly.
I just wanted to mention that, according to the vote that passed back in November, this thread will close at the end of March, AND (perhaps more significantly), "As of the last day of February, any ungifted Santa or Slacker Santa giftees will have the option to throw their names back into the pool to be gifted by other volunteers, which will be a way for people who found themselves unable to gift for one reason or another to bow out gracefully and for everyone to get closure on the year without the thread going on for months."
FYI.
t edit
I'm mentioning it because today IS the last day of February, despite the fact that that doesn't seem possible.
If it's needed, I can volunteer to take someone's gift on. I had fun choosing Aimee's!!
I can also volunteer to provide a substitute gift!
I will also volunteer to take on a giftee.
Let's hear from some slacking Gifters and see if they've got their packages together but just haven't managed to get to the post office. (A common hazard in this project.)
I can offer to be a clearing house for the slakers and ungifted. I know Nilly has the master list - don't know if she has the time available.
I'll throw my name into the ring for substitute giftees.
I would also volunteer to be a substitute santa. I was the giftee of substitutes and was richly gifted by them.
I am a slacker gifter. Once i stopped slacking, one of the items is in backorder. Soon, giftee, soon.
