Happy, happy birthday to Pix and Maria!
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy happies to Kristin and Maria!
Happy birthdays, Kristin and Maria!
smonster's dating mantras are wise.
Why do people who aren't good at taking directions - directions like from Point A to Point B - drive me crazier than most other people?
STOP INTERRUPTING ME AND QUESTIONING ME! If you effing shut your piehole and listen, you'll learn how to effing get here. If you don't like my way of getting here, calling some-effing-one else.
Jeebus but these people have the fast track to my last nerve.
Yeah, trust your instincts. Though maybe you could have a passionate angry argument that led to passionate sex. I always suspect that was how Carville and Maitland got together.

Aims, I just posted yesterday in LJ why it is I interrupt and question. It's not always about getting on your last nerve, I promise. Although with those people it probably is, and sorry.
Birthday felicitations to Kristin and Maria! It made me smile to read "sweet card from my DH".
Happy Birthday Kristin and Maria!
I have reframed my OK Cupid expectations to "meet interesting people I don't want to have sex with." I think that is much more reasonable. I'm going walking with a new (male) friend tomorrow, and it looks like I may get some bi/lesbian friends to go dancing with. Although I am trying to set up a coffee date for this weekend with a guy who has *amazing* eyes.
I don't mind the interruptions if it's something like, "That was X Rd North, not South, right?" That's clarification so they don't get lost. That's totally fine by me. I get that.
What starts sending me round the bend is when it's, "I don't how to get there. I'm coming from Y." and I tell them the best way I know how to get from Y to us. THEN - they start in with, "Isn't taking this other way faster than what you're telling me? And where does this other way take me? And can I still get to you from there? And which way do I turn if I come from this other way?"
Happy birthday to Kristin and Maria!
