[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy birthdays, Kristin and Maria!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Why do people who aren't good at taking directions - directions like from Point A to Point B - drive me crazier than most other people?

STOP INTERRUPTING ME AND QUESTIONING ME! If you effing shut your piehole and listen, you'll learn how to effing get here. If you don't like my way of getting here, calling some-effing-one else.

Jeebus but these people have the fast track to my last nerve.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Yeah, trust your instincts. Though maybe you could have a passionate angry argument that led to passionate sex. I always suspect that was how Carville and Maitland got together.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Aims, I just posted yesterday in LJ why it is I interrupt and question. It's not always about getting on your last nerve, I promise. Although with those people it probably is, and sorry.

Birthday felicitations to Kristin and Maria! It made me smile to read "sweet card from my DH".

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Happy Birthday Kristin and Maria!

I have reframed my OK Cupid expectations to "meet interesting people I don't want to have sex with." I think that is much more reasonable. I'm going walking with a new (male) friend tomorrow, and it looks like I may get some bi/lesbian friends to go dancing with. Although I am trying to set up a coffee date for this weekend with a guy who has *amazing* eyes.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I don't mind the interruptions if it's something like, "That was X Rd North, not South, right?" That's clarification so they don't get lost. That's totally fine by me. I get that.

What starts sending me round the bend is when it's, "I don't how to get there. I'm coming from Y." and I tell them the best way I know how to get from Y to us. THEN - they start in with, "Isn't taking this other way faster than what you're telling me? And where does this other way take me? And can I still get to you from there? And which way do I turn if I come from this other way?"

brillig

Got the results of my heart scan--

"Probably normal."

Apparently women have a harder time getting a clear cut "normal" result because our breasts get in the way of the scanning equipment--though the cardiologist did say you can occasionally find breast cancers with this scan.

So my blood uptake looks pretty good in all sectors except for the portion behind my left tit, where it's probably good.

Yay, me! Hubby and I then went to Denny's and had bacon and sausage and eggs for breakfast. Yum.

Still waiting for mammogram results. Initial results on the bone density is good for the hips, but there's some loss in the spine. I suppose the big gut is to blame for that, putting more stress than is good on the spine. Still, yay, me!

Gods, I'm getting emotional. All the people reposting my Historic Green thing on FB are Buffistas. I love you all, so much!
