Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Librarian Warlord

an entirely shiny new surface to cover

I couldn't remember if she had an appropriate wall in her room or not, but I figured there was one somewhere in the house.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

TCG has a dentist appointment for 2pm today. Teeth~ma, please. ION, my headache from yesterday decided to spend the night. Bah.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It IS Monday

There is no escape. We'll just have to wait until it goes away.

I am having an occular migraine and trying hard not to let it turn into an anxiety attack. Hate this. At least TCG is home.

Always Anti-fascist!

Told off my first idiot of the new week. Feel pretty great about it, too...why did I spend so much time avoiding doing it? It's five by five. Except I'm hungry and...well, never mind. Knee-jerk cynicism pisses me off, yeah, even though I've got the soul of a murder po-lice in some ways. And I get that there are people looking to victimize others. But if I thought that was all life was about, I'd have killed myself when I wanted to.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Chocolate cake for breakfast. This is why it's good to be a grown-up: you don't need permission.

Stephanie, do you know for certain that the woman is really pregnant? Folks like that (rather, the kind of folks I suspect they are) are likely to make up any story if they think it will get them sympathy and help - meaning, money and a free place to stay. Don't be surprised if they show up on your doorstep with no warning, having some dire emergency such that a nice person like you couldn't possibly turn them away. Don't let them in your house; they'll never leave. Possibly pre-arm yourself with knowledge of some places in the area where people can go and stay for a while, like a hostel or a shelter, and the number of a local cab company. If you give them ANYTHING, they will keep coming back for more.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Skipping to ask some urgent peace and health and clam~ma to both sister and dog.

Both had a very miserable day, and an ugly meeting with a vet.

Trust my rage

Stephanie, do you know for certain that the woman is really pregnant?

Yeah, I've asked myself the same question. She *looks* 3-4 months pregnant, but I'm not sure.

She texted me this morning saying "I'm our of the hospital. Yay! So, baby shower just before Valentine's Day?" I haven't responded but I don't think so.

eta: And Shir, I'm sorry both sis and dog are having such a rough day.
