Buffy: I was regrouping. Spike: You were about to be regrouped into separate piles.

'Potential'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Your contracts allow for holiday pay? Do you go through a company, or are you contracted directly with the Mothership?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The contract company I work for gives you holiday pay after you've worked 500 hours. So, I'll qualify for holiday pay right as this contract ends.

Oh, marvellous.

I was very pleasantly surprised that my contract company offers medical and dental after 4 weeks of 30 hours, but I'm pretty sure there's no holiday pay. And with the liberal PTO they give here at the company itself, it would never even compare, I'm sure.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

The saga continues. Back at Best Buy. UPS says the laptop arrived 10:30 this morning. Due to cold and snow (in DALLAS!!) I delayed my trip until 1:40. It is now 2:20. The box is still on the truck. My options were wait for them to unpack the truck, or come back in a few days. Um. I'll wait.

Erin, glad you got a full night sleep. Hopefully that turns the tide for you.

P-C, I hope it was a couple jokesters. If it really was the cops, wouldn't they have done a sweep for accomplises, or victims?

There was more. But thumb is cold. Hard to typeon iPhone.

With my contract company, they give you holiday pay for every holiday the Mothership observes. Which is nice, because if you have to be there, the office is a complete ghost town on those days.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Maybe it was cops playing a sex game.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Earlier, The Girl sad "What idiot thought midnight was a good time for Mass?" and now that it's 9pm I'm secretly agreeing with her. She's napping on the sofa and I'm lying in bed listening to the radio. I swear we'll both be up by 11 for carols in what I think might be the coldest church in the country. (Ooh look, alliteration.)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, yay, I got a Kara story for Christmas!

Hi, Cindy. Good to see your pixels here. Merry Christmas to you.

I am still at KBD's, but not for much longer. Good thing my parents are used to "early afternoon" meaning "any time before dinner."

Now tagless for your comfort.

Deena, tell Kara that the Prep & Landing Elves are going to make a reconnoiter and will make sure she's snug before the Big Guy comes.

Liv is watching The Grinch and told me that when she's mad, her heart is too small.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm cleaning for Christmas.

Scrubbed out the fridge in preparation for EM's arrival, and all the seafood she's bringing for Christmas Eve Dinner.

It'll be Zmayhem plus EM, JZ's mom, and our friend Beth. Seven will be a little crowded around our kitchen table but we've done it before.

EM will sleep over and we'll have Christmas Day together. Later in the early afternoon we'll all head to the East Bay to see JZ's extended family and more eating. Then back home, jiggity jig. For collapsing and (hopefully) Matilda contentedly playing with her haul. EM got her a big wooden dollhouse, and little dollies that go inside and the kitchen set and the bedroom set that go with it. Pretty extravagant.

All presents are got and most are wrapped and many are under the tree. Stockings are stuffed. I just need a little more cleaning off the kitchen table and the bathroom floor.
