Nah, that's Australia. New Zealand just has hobbits.
'Out Of Gas'
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Wait, doesn't New Zealand have GIANT SPIDERS?
They were all eaten by the giant flying dragons.
Shir, that's fucking scary, and appalling that anyone should think that's acceptable behavior regardless of what they think of your attire. Fuckers.
maybe if women started making these guys' faces public it might discourage them ... at least from causing actual physical injury.
Hollaback sites sounds like a great idea, but I got the feeling that waving a camera in their faces will only cause more violence from them.
Glam--I think the first two are totally sugar and the last one...not so much.
I kind of like the last one.
Yeah, I bought the first two (went ahead with the gunmetal since they were out of the green [sob]). Still undecided on those others.
These gladiator-esque sandals have me tempted for a future date!

- Cheaper, but less ornate: >[link]
- Love these, but out of my size: >[link]

Worrying, but certainly a possibility.

Oh, well fine, then. Buffista Island in New Zealand!
I got the feeling that waving a camera in their faces will only cause more violence from them.
Since they think they are RIGHT and God loves them and they find violence perfectly acceptable as a response to just about anything apparently, is there any response to them that is likely to accomplish anything but more violence? I don't even know how to deal with people who can't be reasoned with and place little value on the lives of others. Except nuke 'em from orbit, which may prove impractical.
Ugh Shir. That's just appalling.
I think it was yesterday someone posted a link to a Roger Ebert piece on the repainting of the school mural in Arizona. He writes that he can't really put himself in the place of the people who drove by yelling epithets at the painting, and I realize that's what I'm feeling now. I can't understand what kind of mindset it takes to want to inflict violence on women systematically in order to try to control--what? how they dress?! I don't get it. I can't imagine that degree of anger and resentment and fear about what somebody is wearing.
