Glam--I think the first two are totally sugar and the last one...not so much.
'Destiny'
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I kind of like the last one.
Yeah, I bought the first two (went ahead with the gunmetal since they were out of the green [sob]). Still undecided on those others.
These gladiator-esque sandals have me tempted for a future date!

Hollaback sites sounds like a great idea, but I got the feeling that waving a camera in their faces will only cause more violence from them.
Worrying, but certainly a possibility.
They were all eaten by the giant flying dragons.
Oh, well fine, then. Buffista Island in New Zealand!

Since they think they are RIGHT and God loves them and they find violence perfectly acceptable as a response to just about anything apparently, is there any response to them that is likely to accomplish anything but more violence? I don't even know how to deal with people who can't be reasoned with and place little value on the lives of others. Except nuke 'em from orbit, which may prove impractical.
Ugh Shir. That's just appalling.
I think it was yesterday someone posted a link to a Roger Ebert piece on the repainting of the school mural in Arizona. He writes that he can't really put himself in the place of the people who drove by yelling epithets at the painting, and I realize that's what I'm feeling now. I can't understand what kind of mindset it takes to want to inflict violence on women systematically in order to try to control--what? how they dress?! I don't get it. I can't imagine that degree of anger and resentment and fear about what somebody is wearing.

In general, they're addressing catcalling. Usually those guys aren't so much with the physical violence. They just like the power that harassing women gives them.
I like the gunmetal, Glam! I don't know how you can wear the scrunchy-backed shoes, they drive me crazy, but more power to you. Not big on the last pair, save the money for more awesomeness!!
I have to soon buy a pair of silver strappy sandals for the wedding I'm going to be in. I want cheap ones, cause...I so don't need any (my perfectly lovely pewter strappy sandals are not acceptable). And I'm already paying $180 for the dang dress.
Okay, WTFF? (Wacky shoes.) [link]

There's probably only so much the authorites will ignore from them, don't you think? "She took my picture so I punched her" could well be crossing the line.
Even before your assault today I've heard talk about it happening and its nauseating. PICTURES of it happening could be even more effective.
