Minor panic attack. I just realized that a section that I wrote of my dissertation needs to be majorly rewritten. I can do it, but it'll take at least a day or two.

Several more rejections today. I went through my files and calculated that I've applied to 168 jobs. I know there are at least four where I was one of the top 10 or so candidates. There are a bunch (I'm not sure exactly how many) that haven't started looking at applications yet or haven't contacted anybody yet. I applied to two more today.

I am unsettled by the idea of the Buffistas going bride-hunting for Polter. Because we tend to pull off unexpected things. So Polter better brace himself for ending up engaged via the board if he's not careful.
