Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Glad to hear the problem was with a "non-essential" organ, Drew. I've known others who had their gall bladder removed and all it meant was some dietary adjustments that they found easy to live with.

Have taken the dog on four walks, today. I think I definitely got my share of sunlight for the day. And he's been good for my back, too. I woke up this morning feeling a lot better than I have all week. It was like sleeping with a heating pad on my back all night and it seems to have loosened up the muscles around the part that was bothering me. The daughter may not get him back when she gets home.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hec's met her, she was Tom's boss's wife

Oh yeah, she was fun.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

See, this is why I'm skeptical:

until engorgement subsides. This will usually be within one to two days.

Because 1-2 days is about when it would usually go away on its own, one way or another. OTOH, how much does a cabbage cost, $2-3? So I can't really see the harm in trying either.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Plus, instant coleslaw.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ugh. My right shoulder is hurting in exactly the way my left shoulder did when there was calcification in the joint. I really do not need this now.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Cabbage is cheap. IIRC, some decongestants can help with the dry out, too.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Whoo! If smonster stops by, I am proud to announce that I have recruited my friend L. for Historic Green! Hec's met her, she was Tom's boss's wife (she is still M's wife, but M is no longer Tom's boss.)

Hell yes!

ION, uh, I can haz boyfriend. Meep! I swear I think I invented him, he's so awesome. In all the myriad ways KBD was wrong, he is oh so right. And he is just as into me as I am into him. ::pinches self::

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Oh, Empress... did Jilli and I score the most amazing find for you today. I'm going to put it in the mail on Monday.

::cackles gleefully::

ETA: No, we did not randomly run into Daniel Radcliffe and stuff him into my trunk. No room.

Woohoo!! I am such a lucky girl to be getting a camel of my very own!! Thanks, ladies.
