One of my other boards has a lot of very physically active natural living people who are suspicious of any "unnatural" medicine. This board is useful for certain things, but I really need to stay away from the medical discussions there. Someone just implied that the fact that I take painkillers to deal with pain is a failure of willpower, and that I should just meditate. (Actually, I know that I should stick to the cooking threads on that board and stay far away from everything else, but I keep wandering into other places there.)

ION- cute ASM gal is *NOT* a lesbian. And while that would normally be great news for me, the fact she is getting her boyfriend an XBOX for his birthday seems to say she is in a committed relationship, so, same net effect. :: sigh :: always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
Somebody used the word "smitten" tonight, which was our second date. And it wasn't me. And besides the crazy chemistry, there seems to be a lot of very important values that we share.
