One of my other boards has a lot of very physically active natural living people who are suspicious of any "unnatural" medicine. This board is useful for certain things, but I really need to stay away from the medical discussions there. Someone just implied that the fact that I take painkillers to deal with pain is a failure of willpower, and that I should just meditate. (Actually, I know that I should stick to the cooking threads on that board and stay far away from everything else, but I keep wandering into other places there.)

Oh, and to add, yesterday's adventures included Abby being introduced to thrifting (which she LOVES and is already badgering me about when we can go next) and Jilli finding Abby an adorable black skirt with which to start building her own wee gothy wardrobe.
