None of the other quotes on my blog came up with anything as good as 'He swallowed my mother', but his one turned into some sort of philosophical debate as it reached equilibrium.

Okay, I've caught up on all my work emails and there are only 4 people in the office today. That means I can go home early, right? And that I deserve a nice present for making it through an almost-full workday?
I think since I've been here since before 8 I can leave now. Though it's awful outside and I'm not looking forward to seeing how the house fares in 97 F heat and humidity. But maybe it won't be so bad.

today has somehow become made of win. I called a hospital billing dept and actually got a billing error resolved IN MY FAVOR, had to pay out on 10% of what they were billing me and I have names and dates and everything about the transactions should this come back to haunt me.
I think that is a sign that I should leave before anything can go wrong and ruin my currently happy mood.
