"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

And my tagline in J-E: Time course of my journey: I'm a singer who died the same day, you can hear all the time.

But I love the poetic of this stage: I travel and time course: I can hear all hours of the day the singer died.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Okay, I've caught up on all my work emails and there are only 4 people in the office today. That means I can go home early, right? And that I deserve a nice present for making it through an almost-full workday?

I think since I've been here since before 8 I can leave now. Though it's awful outside and I'm not looking forward to seeing how the house fares in 97 F heat and humidity. But maybe it won't be so bad.

Electromagnetic candy! - Stark

I'm contaminated.

I went to see "Julie and Julia" (which I loved), and the new Twilight movie had a preview.

EW. MY EYES.

I'm so tainted now.

And on Saturday while riding on MARTA I overheard a stupid argument over whether or not "Twilight" is original or not. 20 minutes of this.

Kill me.

"The beautiful part of writing is that you don't have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, a brain surgeon." --Robert Cormier

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It said that this one:

Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

Would never reach equilibrium. Weird.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

today has somehow become made of win. I called a hospital billing dept and actually got a billing error resolved IN MY FAVOR, had to pay out on 10% of what they were billing me and I have names and dates and everything about the transactions should this come back to haunt me.

I think that is a sign that I should leave before anything can go wrong and ruin my currently happy mood.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Lenin Statue Kills Belarusian Man

That doesn't seem fair. Maybe the headline should be "Drunk Belarusian Man Fatally Knocks Over Lenin Statue". Or something.
