"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Bomer hits my "too pretty" trigger, too, but at least I like the character.

He definitely didn't for me during his Tru Calling, Traveler, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre days, but he started heading that way on Chuck and landed squarely in Young Rob Lowe Land with White Collar. Just in time for me to find out that he's not theoretically impossible to land (just very, very unlikely what with the domestic partner and fame and whatnot). I wish he'd eat a few cheeseburgers and grow some scruff so I could appreciate him on a visceral as well as aesthetic level again.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I want to see Sherlock Holmes on Christmas, but my sister rejected it, and for Christmas, we've got to find a movie that everybody in the family wants to see. We agreed on Up in the Air, and I'll probably see Sherlock Holmes with my dad sometime later in the weekend.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I didn't actually think Bryce Larkin was attractive.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wasn't Bryce supposed to be very attractive, though? In the all-that-Chuck-couldn't-be way? Did they just style him wrong, or did Matthew get prettier in his old age?

Yeah, I think so.

Did they just style him wrong, or did Matthew get prettier in his old age?

For me, it's at least mostly because the guy was good-looking, but the character wasn't attractive.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It looks like I'll be seeing both Avatar and Sherlock Holmes on Christmas. I should probably decide on the order and buy tickets. Last time I did a double feature it was the third Bourne followed by Ratatouille.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

yeah, Bryce was supposed to be attractive, but thr character was such an ass that it diminished his hotness

Art Crawl!!!

I liked Bryce Larkin - I wish that they'd give Neal more stunts to do. That's the Larkin I liked. I liked Bomer in Traveller and barely remember him in Tru Calling

ita, do you have that picture of Jensen - the green one? I think you know the one I mean. . . of course, it could actually be a picture of Dean.

I didn't watch much Chuck, nor invest any in it, so I didn't take Bryce's character particularly seriously. But I did think that Bomer was impossibly pretty at that juncture.

I do not have a picture of Jensen I would qualify as green, sumi--do tell.

I am obsessed with Chuck! And it's coming back soon!
