I was so over-joyed at the reunion of Fitz-Simmons and the sandwich callback at the end. Though part of me was waiting for the cab driver to be revealed to be Ward. Just because way too often on these types of shows, that seems to be what happens when we don't see the driver before they get in.
ETA: To clarify, Ward kidnapping him, not them being in cahoots.
I loved the bit in the preview about "You can't hurt the mountain." It's why I love mountains.
(insert gratuitous disclaimer about geology and volcanology and seismology and all that)
Yes, I was all "Show the driver! OMG, who is the driver! Don't trust him!"
I'll just echo everything Dana said.
Also, does it sound like they're saying Real Shield ™ or is it just me?
I keep flashing on the Real Ghostbusters cartoon in the 80s
My FitzSimmons Feels are real.
Skye may not be able to hurt the mountain per se, but if she causes an avalance I hope there aren't any people living in the valley below it.
I squeed at the FitzSimmons sandwich callback. So many feels.
I'd missed the fact that FitzSimmons was working together again; I didn't see that Fitz had the cube in the cab. I did see the sandwich, which had me going huh? Then I rewatched. Yay, FitzSimmons! I'm warming back up to Bobbi. I want to see her turn on Gonzales, because, damn. They keep insisting Skye tried to kill them when it was the other way around. Just how self-deluded are they about being the "real" SHIELD? I'll take Coulson's secrets over Gonzales' bombast any day.
I wonder if they'll reveal that Gonzalez' wife was killed by someone with powers, or if they'll leave it at generic "Not like us! Kill it with fire!"
