This is a time of celebration, so sit still and be quiet.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

What the hell is going on?! Why did I just see James Marsden as Alan Tudyk and Chris Rock as Matthew McFadyen and Peter Dinklage reprising his role in a remake of Death at a Funeral?! Really? A remake of a three year old movie?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Clash of the Titans FAIL. FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL.

(I'm copy-pasting from Twitter here, because this movie is not worth coming up with an original sentence for.)

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ok, I had no trouble coming up with wildly inaccurate biopics.

Anyone know any historically-accurate biopics?

I thought this as soon as I heard about it. It makes me angry just thinking about it.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Really? A remake of a three year old movie?

But this time it has black actors!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

But this time it has black actors!

Well, some.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My only consolations are (1) Peter Dinklage getting paid twice for the same job and (2) me finally getting to see James Marsden nekkid.

It's primarily a black cast. I'd heard this was because it was a Tyler Perry production, but a look at the IMDB page shows no hint of Perry's name.

However, it is directed by Neil LaBute. For some reason.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I didn't hear of Death at a Funeral the first time around, so I didn't realize it's a remake. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that I have no intention of ever seeing it.
