It looks great.

Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Well, it is a mutant enemy, but it isn't Mutant Enemy.
Apparently NBC is remaking Rosemary's Baby as a miniseries: [link] Is this going to be a fad now, remaking classic films for TV? Bah. That said, Agnieszka Holland is a fine director.
The article isn't wrong about casting. Because Farrow's blond pixie cut is so iconic for the movie, my mind keep going to casting actresses who recently sported same type of haircut. Michelle Williams. Carey Mulligan. Not a bad choice, either of them, but they probably have too high a profile for TV miniseries...
NBC should just cast Carrie Underwood in everything. She would be perfect for the role.

Emma Watson!

I do not want this.
I do not want this either. The remake of The Omen was pointless, and I don't see how this will be different, no matter who's cast. For all Polanski's many faults, he made a fantastic movie out of that book, and stayed obsessively close to the source text. And it still stands up to watching.
I have strong feelings about both the movie and the book!
Translation: Bitch, it is ON!
Agreed on how bad an idea the Rosemary's Baby remake idea is, despite the director's bona fides. That was about a perfect movie with perfect casting. Not just Mia, but I can't imagine anyone in place of Cassavettes or Ruth Gordon doing as well.
Matt,
I posted that in Premium! I cannot believe Damian Lewis said that shit.
