NBC should just cast Carrie Underwood in everything. She would be perfect for the role.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Emma Watson!
Apparently NBC is remaking Rosemary's Baby as a miniseries
I do not want this.
I do not want this either. The remake of The Omen was pointless, and I don't see how this will be different, no matter who's cast. For all Polanski's many faults, he made a fantastic movie out of that book, and stayed obsessively close to the source text. And it still stands up to watching.
I have strong feelings about both the movie and the book!
Translation: Bitch, it is ON!
Agreed on how bad an idea the Rosemary's Baby remake idea is, despite the director's bona fides. That was about a perfect movie with perfect casting. Not just Mia, but I can't imagine anyone in place of Cassavettes or Ruth Gordon doing as well.
Matt,
I posted that in Premium! I cannot believe Damian Lewis said that shit.

Oh that is just awesome. And It's nice to hear from Sir Ian himself that I'm not alone in having problems turning off the vocal effects. Once you've been trained how to speak properly from the stage it is difficult to stop.
That clip keeps crashing my IE.
We're watching Man of Steel. This is the stupidest portrayal of Jonathan Kent I've ever seen. It literally makes no sense.
