'Not Fade Away'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

She has called Kona Pua her granddog. I think I'm more comfortable being thought of as mother to my pets than lover. There is a snarky comment there, something about your mom knows you'd never pick a dog for a lover, but prefer.... eh, it's not coming to me. Must be the hour. t /12 y.o
They have Treasure Island in Texas?Nope. It's called Cental Market [link] It is made of the awesome. They have the best butcher shop I've ever seen. An aisle of cheese like I've never seen before. They have a lot of organic and wholesome food stuffs, like Trader Joe's, but they also have a lot of mainstream brands and products like your average grocery store. I think I can do all shopping in one trip!! I'm a little upset that I live a block from this thing for 6 months, and I've avoided it because I was told "it's pricey, probably not a good idea to shop there" I wish I could remember who said that, cuz I won't trust what they say again! The place was heaven! It's layout was Ikea-esque, in that you have a path you travel through to get around the store, and shortcuts if you don't want to go through sections, but not a traditional aisle format. I'm guessing it's better usage of space. My house guests saw the sign out front for their Chocolate Festival, and dragged me in. Best thing ever.
OK, I've babbled enough. Time for sleep.

Oooo they have cooking classes. It looks to be about $55-60 per class. Is that a good price? I think after this month (trip, and then loading in new show), I might have to try one out. Could be fun, come this summer when there are no shows to produce and not much to do!
Someone vandalized my car. It's nothing serious, just eggs and china marker but yeah. No fun.
In happier news... I got this little puppy for $10 at Best Buy. I put two AAs in and turned it on at 4pm and it's still going strong.
Tangential question... if I clicked through to Amazon from our Affiliate Links, searched for the above thingy, then posted that page's link here- say person A clicks through from that link & ends up purchasing something on Amazon- does b.org get a cut?
does b.org get a cut?
Dunno, Laga. I have always tried to remember to go back and click on the b.org affiliate link then search for the item myself, if I'm intent on buying something that I have stumbled across in someone else's link.

Too true. Billytea, best wishes and a bit of ~ma for your foamy wife.

Yuck! If you don't get the egg off pretty soon, it can make the finish duller, so can forever see a shadow of egg. (This happened to a friend.)
When I was kid, someone egged my grandmother's house. I was asleep under an open window with a screen and awoke to a faceful of strained egg. I hadn't thought about that in years.
I hope everything goes well for Wallybee and Baby Tea.

I have to say, when I read your re-telling of the inaugural address, I thought to myself, "I wish I could get MM's Re-interpretation of the News every single day. And then, I'd like him to start on a Re-telling of Historical Moments, too."
Sounds like fun. Got any news stories or historical moments in mind?
I mean, I've got the time...
