I love the smell of desperate librarian in the morning.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Hope you're feeling better soon, and that the little one doesn't catch anything, Sparky.

Yay for Ambien, Anne!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

(((Sparky))). Feel better.

Seska, tons of awake-ma.

Our wings are not tired.

{{Sparky}} Health~ma

Yay Ambien!

Wake up, Seska!

May all the Bitches have much better days today.

I have to go teach doctors to write prescriptions in Miami today. Wish me Cuban coffee. I teach doctors and nurses all the time. They get all nervous about scary changes in the way they do stuff, but being all brainy they catch on instantly. My job is too easy. Now I have to just drink the coffee and resist the tasty treats they always seem to have around.

“Not dead yet!”

Here's to Cuban coffee, Laura.

{{{Sparky}}} Here's hoping it stays at symptoms and doesn't blow up into anything bigger or nastier. And that the sproglet doesn't catch anything.

Yay for sleep, Anne!

Seska, here's hoping iron helps perk you up. (From one anemic to another.)

Yeah, that's about all I've got.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Much health~ma to Sparky and baby, and smonster, and Seska, and anyone else who may need it.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Now's the time when I completely blank on TomW's hair colour.

HA! He's a ginger. But it was an actual cat I was referring to upthread.

email me with your wish list, and I'll let you know what he says about places and possible availabilities.

Ooh, I will definitely do this once we know what's what.

Ugh, Sparky. I hope you feel better soon and that K doesn't catch what you have.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Feel Better, Sparky!

Nora! I missed most of the talk about you moving here (silly work), but I needed to add my YAY.

You mentioned working at Stanford and living in/near Oakland though--that would be a hell of a commute. You should move to this part of the bay instead.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I am now convinced I have hand tourettes.

J, one of my co-workers that I adore, said, "Hey - I'm going to send you another work order, that cool?" It was, so I went to give the thumbs up.

And flipped her off.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME??

Yeah, I considered that. Which part of the bay are you at, again?

Librarian Warlord

that would be a hell of a commute

My DH did the commute for a year from Berkeley to Palo Alto, and it was 2 hours each way on public transportation. He wasn't much better off in a car.
