I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

It's a seriously visceral kind of pain, with no logic or reason to it.

Yeah, it really is. It's visceral and extremely personal from the standpoint of everyone experiences it differently, so to pull a compare and contrast and "My misery sucks bigger donkey balls than your misery," is monumentally unfair to everyone involved.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

my friend's m-i-l said, "Well, I had a grandson, for a few minutes. It didn't take."

That is one of the most horrible things I have ever read.

Always Anti-fascist!

But what comfort is it to get pregnant, if you're not bearing anything(anyone?) This is reminding me too much of the bioethics debates in the disability rights movement, but also reminds me I was probably never meant to breed anything but discontent. although I might have liked the opportunity, but I'm 36 now, you know? And without so much as a coffee date.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

my friend's m-i-l said

Did someone punch her in the face? (I can't even quote what she said.)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

"Well, I had a grandson, for a few minutes. It didn't take."

Tell me this woman is still alive so I can go there where she is and fucking kill her. Srsly. Smite my ass. This bitch deserves a flat-out face punch and then some.

t starts packing brass knuckles

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yeah, it really is. It's visceral and extremely personal from the standpoint of everyone experiences it differently, so to pull a compare and contrast and "My misery sucks bigger donkey balls than your misery," is monumentally unfair to everyone involved.

Yeah, but honestly, that's asking for logical reactions, which you're never going to get when the starting point is that personal. And I think PI and SI people should keep themselves separated for just that reason.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Call Deb and see if I can borrow the cross-bow, would ya? Mine is all janky.

Our wings are not tired.

Seriously, y'all, I had the same reaction. My friend couldn't believe her ears, and had to ask someone else who was present if that's really what had been said. And here's the kicker: her m-i-l lost a baby due to SIDS.

Our wings are not tired.

"It didn't take". Possibly the most evil sentence ever spoken.
