What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Sparky, you have a point. I'll take it down.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Did I mention we had vouchers for a free drink in the lounge? I really shouldn't drink on an empty stomach.

Our wings are not tired.

Good luck, P-C. I hope you get along. Local is a plus.

She likes Fringe, which is a plus! And one of the sites on her page plays "Wish You Were Were" by Incubus, which I love. So that's good too. Also, she has streaks in her hair. Unfortunately, she pluralizes with apostrophes and can't spell "Bourne." I have pet peeves.

But the fact that she made a webpage (clearly on her own) means she must be slightly geeky, right?

Sounds like fun is being had, sj. My parents were in Kennebunkport last week. They had a lovely time. They may have been tipsy too!

Those are good signs, P-C. Love Fringe and making your own website clearly a sign of geekitude.

DH can't spell, uses the wrong word often, and wouldn't have a clue about apostrophes. And yet he is a keeper. I get email from doctors all the time and the spelling and grammar is painful. It doesn't seem to be a priority with a lot of people.

I miss spending the Summer in Maine. I hope I get to take my daughter up someday to show her the world in a tide pool.

I'm not sure this is a true measure of geekiness anymore. It's too easy.

Yeah, I think she just used whatever was included with the Mac tools or whatever.

As for Fringe, it is one of three favorite shows listed. The other two are So You Think You Can Dance and Ellen, so the sci-fi show may be the anomaly. But it is at least something to talk about.

And yeah. The first girl I fell in love with had terrible e-mail etiquette sometimes (like replying to a giant e-mail with a sentence and still including the entire e-mail in the reply), but I looked past it. (...Still annoyed me, though. Heh.)

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Maybe she's a Jason Bourne fan. Best of luck with prospective wife!

Maybe she's a Jason Bourne fan.

One of her favorite movies is, indeed, The Borne Identity [sic]. Which reminds me of how a previous potential future wife (who is now engaged, according to Facebook) listed Three's A Company as one of her favorite TV shows. Accuracy is just not a priority for some people.

Best of luck with prospective wife!

Thanks. I'm supposed to call her today and report back.
