the aftereffects of this morning's procedure.
ita, how are you? I'm sorry there's aftereffects.
Really think they aren't gonna harbor any ill will or seriously fucked up psyches after Guantanamo for 7 or whatever years?
Nah, you think?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Is anyone else having issues with Gmail? It's flipping out when I try to go to the site, no matter how I try to get there. Weird.
I saw an interview with a detainee that was released from Gitmo after it was determined he was innocent. He said if a person wasn't a terrorist when they went in, the sure as hell would be when they came out.
So, yeah, we've actually created terrorists.
Still, I'd like to see a little due process.
That argues for reparations. Lots of psychological damage. We need to provide with enough so they don't need to work, and pay medical bills including mental health treatment. Also some of them are guilty, but if they were tortured that contaminates the evidence against them and they still have to be let free. Innocent or guilty if they were tortured they have to be let free. (In theory not true, but if you tortured someone try to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that any evidence you have against them is independent of that.) Really this is not complicated. It may be hard, but it is simple.

It's fine for me....
I just changed browsers and got in fine. Hmmm.
In pain, juliana. This one hurt much more than the others. But at least it's a smaller spot than was uncomfortable last time.
ita, I hope the pain subsides soon.
In completely superficial news, I'm trying to break Loki of denning in the litterbox. I know why he does it but uhg.
If after seven years, you can't put together a case against some of these guys that doesn't rely heavily on tortured confessions, you just don't have a case, whether or not you "think" the guy is guilty.
I do believe that some of these detainees may be guilty, but if you can't prove it without playing Calvinball with the rules of law and justice, it's time to give it up.
