I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Also, "blow my top" means orgasm.

It's all about sex! Sex sex sex! Except for country music which is about the regret you feel after sex.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

So, when Johnny Cash is sad because he shot a man in Reno, he really means...?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

But what about the song "Sweet Poontang?" What's that about?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, Cash just wanted to see the man have an orgasm.

Maybe.

Also, as a kid I was bummed to learn what "Bungle in the Jungle" was about. (I was prudish back then.)

I was surprised to find out that "Push push in the Bush" was actually about Dian Fossey.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Okay, I'm desperate. I was listening to the putumayo music cafe on the way home today between 5:10 and 5:30pm EST, and on came a song that I thought was in my music collection but is apparently not. I tried googling the words I heard, tried the stations playlist, but can't find it. I'm in NJ, it was 91.5. Their website seems to have a limited playlist for several weeks at a time. The track sounded like Saboro, the artist sounded like it began with an E, and it was Arabic. Kinda electronic fusion. I know it's a long shot, but why the heck not try?
