There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Just want to flat-out brag that I'm a little hungover today because I was out super late getting drunk with Stephin Merritt, most of the other Magnetic Fields, and much of Devotchka.

I remember The Ramones, Fleetwood Mac, 33 1/3 books, whether being in a band with longtime friends is a blessing or curse, why my sister is one of his favorite people, Pale Fire, cognac vs. rye whiskey, The Feelies, Patsy Cline, and various movies that have faded a bit in memory.

In retrospect, that's what I talk about with everyone. He did tell me that's he's been a fan of the songwriter in my current band since they did some shows together back in the early 90s.

Her boyfriend is their tour manager. They adore him. I pointed out to her last night that his OCD attention to detail and the comfort of the band is exactly what makes him a good match for her.
