Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yes! What Sparky said. That will make it easier, I think.

Let's make this 32 serious quotes.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

We could also divide them by character: Dean, Sam, and other.

Quotes!

Bobby: Oh, yeah? You're sorry you started Armageddon?! This kind of thing don't get forgiven, boy. If by some miracle we pull this off... I want you to lose my number. You understand me?

Bobby: When you find God, tell Him to send legs!

Jess: Same song, different verse. Things are never gonna change with you. Never.

Castiel: [speaking on his new cell] This isn't funny, Dean! The voice says I'm almost out of minutes.

2014-Castiel: Okay. If you don't like, uh, "reckless", I can use "insouciant", maybe.

Bobby: Thanks... now are we done feeling our feelings? Cause I'd like to get out of this room before we both start growing lady parts.

Dean: Explain what? Lying to us, or the American Girl zombie making cupcakes in your kitchen?

Bobby: She was the love of my life; how many times do I gotta kill her?

Zachariah: Wow. Running from angels... on foot... in Heaven. With out-of-the-box thinking like that, I'm surprised you boys haven't stopped the Apocalypse already.

Sam: By the way, next time I say "let's keep driving," uh... let's keep driving!

Gabriel: Lucifer... you are my brother, and I love you. But you are a great big bag of dicks.

Death: I suppose it can stay. I like the pizza.

Chuck: It never occurred to them that, sure, maybe they never really had a roof and four walls but they were never, in fact, homeless.

I.... should stop now.

eta: I didn't see the update about serious quotes, sorry.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

What about 32 quotes per character. Then whittle that down to a best quote death match.

Because books.

Which is it?!

I far fewer serious quotes saved than funny ones. Hmmm.

So say 4-5 initial rounds. Sam, Dean, Cas, Bobby, other characters. Maybe combine Bobby with other?

Or by season?

ETA: What Perkins suggested, missed it first read through.

Because books.

I like the season by season deathmatch idea. Although for a season I might say ... 20 quotes.

I like the season by season, but I also like the character quotes.

Dean will have the lions share of awesome quotes just because he's a snarky sensitive bastard. If we do character by character, there's some assurance quotes land in the final round from all the main characters.

Is it too much work to do shorter rounds per character/per season?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Now I'm all confused! I like seasons and characters both...

It's hard to bracket 20 quotes, though. 16 works better.
