I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Doesn't Demian call him Dashing El Deano over on the TWoP recaps?

Hmm, don't recall on the surplus of seals. But that sounds like a plan, just use the leftovers, I'm good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've never liked Demian's comments in thread about the show enough to actually try his recaps. I just see him called "Deano" a lot in Weechester fic, and I was wondering if that was to balance "Sammy" out, or because it had happened onscreen at some point. Man, I wish there were a complete searchable transcript repository. Supernaturalwiki has only Meg calling him that, but I don't think it has all the transcripts.

If it's only Meg, having John call him that in fic is icky.

Which reminds me too, that I have ire that Sam let Ruby call him Sammy. Just wrong.

Ah, I remembered wrong about the seal count. From wikipedia:

Holding Lucifer at bay are over 600 mystical seals, only 66 of which have to be broken for him to be released.

However, the transcript in supernaturalwiki says Anna says there are 6,000. I think that's a typo, since other entries on that site agree with 600.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Okay, so God reconstituted Castiel in the Jimmy vessel who may or may not still contain Jimmy. We are pretty sure that Jimmy is gone, however because of MBV, he could still be in there. Got it.

I vaguely recall someone promising that both Dean and Sam would end up safely in Heaven after the big showdown

That was Joshua right? I took that as a promise up to the date, but not covering anything they might do in the future. They don't have a blank cheque and allowing Lucifer in might be a no-no.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I took the "craving of his vessel" as "cravings of a human form" over Jimmy's personal cravings.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I did too at the time. I didn't consider it might mean Jimmy was still around.

Kneel before Glod. ~Stephen Colbert

Lucifer has not stated that Sam would be ruined. He has rather pointedly avoided saying anything about the condition of Sam's personality, identity, or soul, post-claiming.

He did encourage Sam in Abandon All Hope to "Keep fanning that fire in your belly. All that pent-up rage... I'm gonna need it." If Samifer does happen, I wonder how much Sam will be left when Luci's done and if God intervenes again for old time's sake.

Joshua said the boys have been to heaven before, that God had granted them salvation, even after all Sam had done. Maybe season 6 will the the search for Sam's soul... No knowledge, just a random thought.

Oh and the latest CW teaser clip spoils for who breaks Dean's face. I won't link to it.

Dean, my beautiful, beautiful face. They haven't done swelling before and that is making a huge difference. That is what they all three should have looked like in the Impala crash, but damn, seeing it now...it's stomach turning.

They show Sam hitting him in the trailer after last week's ep, but now you make me want to track down the teaser and see...

Nah, not yet.

They did have Sam's face swollen in Salvation, but not as much as they show Dean's in the preview.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Danneel did say that green makes Jensen's eyes pop (in case you ever want to take your picture with him), but it's hard for them to look good through the swelling.

On a serious note, Jensen uses his face and eyes so much in his acting, I wonder if he found acting through the make up a challenge.

I'm rewatching MBV (yeah, I need excuses) and Castiel doesn't just say it's his vessel that's causing his hunger, he says it's Jimmy's appetite for red meat.

So...still unclear.
