I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

Danneel did say that green makes Jensen's eyes pop (in case you ever want to take your picture with him), but it's hard for them to look good through the swelling.

On a serious note, Jensen uses his face and eyes so much in his acting, I wonder if he found acting through the make up a challenge.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm rewatching MBV (yeah, I need excuses) and Castiel doesn't just say it's his vessel that's causing his hunger, he says it's Jimmy's appetite for red meat.

So...still unclear.

What does it say about me that it was the logicistics of that "Welcome to Oz" fic that had me throwing my hands up and abandoning it early on, yet I had no trouble whatsoever with the SPN characters transplanted into the plot of My Stepmother Is an Alien ?

What were the problematic logistics of the Oz fic?

Mask of Sanity. Another Criminal Minds crossover. Haven't read more than the first chapter, so no opinion to offer other than I think it's going to be OC heavy--I think I've read other stuff by this author with the same OC family, confusingly enough with someone named Jo in it. I don't know if I like them much.

Also, I think it's a WIP.

Physical setup of the town and how it was organized and supplied. I think I can handle nonsensical stuff a lot better if the author plays it for comedy.

All I can say on that front is that it all gets explained by the end.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I took the "craving of his vessel" as "cravings of a human form" over Jimmy's personal cravings.

I did too. I didn't really consider that Jimmy was still in there until the subject came up here. Now I don't know what I think.

Hmmmm. Ok. Maybe Castiel doesn't know how to articulate "hunger due to being in human form" and "Jimmy's appetite" is just shorthand?

Blast. I had really felt that Jimmy was no more. And now, there is confusion.
