Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

Because books.

I really don't see Sam or Dean as any shade of bi but then I delete it because I feel nobody else cares. But I've had a bit of whisky and I'm thinking about lurkers who are maybe thinking they are crazy for not seeing the broyay.

Bi and broyay are two separate things, though.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Bi and broyay are two separate things, though.

Ah yeah, you're right. I must have wanted to prove that I could sprechen the lingo.

I certainly feel their intense need for each other. But I don't see it as a sexual need.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, which is it you don't see? Either of them being bi, or the Wincest?

I'm so sad that I've read Bev's recs already. But I've gone and reread the superhero one, because it fills me with the urge to smish. The other breaks me, as promised.

I quite liked refur's long fic, but I always find some dissonance when a writer puts canon lines in another character's mouth. It's like seeing shadow doubles for me, and it distracts in a negative way. I felt that about parts of it, especially the resolution.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I interrupt this discussion to bring Misha being hot.

Please let Castiel grow a beard, please, please, please.

I'm due for a reread of it soon.

OK one time I felt a little sexual spark between Castiel & Dean but it was all from Cas and it was while he was beating the crap out of Dean so I'm not sure what that says about me.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I love Warm Strangers--and even more, the remix linked in the author's notes at the end, written from Bobby's POV.

The remix reminds me a lot of one I read but can't find, of all the people the Winchesters helped but lost--Henriksen, Andy, Max--gearing up to fight on the Winchesters' side in the apocalypse. Still looking, if I do find it I'll post a link.
