Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Epiphany

Which I could find because I clearly called it "The One with the Knife." Good job, brain!

(I'd read it.)

I'd totally read it.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I *can* see Dean as pansexual? I can never make up my mind which way it went with him, when I'm really basing it on canon. There's a lot "I don't swing that way," with him, but then again that could be protesting too much. And certainly his interaction with Castiel in PoNR skewed that opinion.

Maybe Dean started thinking about new possibilities after being exposed to RPF fic about himself? Or that incident with the siren, which had to be an eyebrow-raiser given their usual M.O.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sex and Violence! That's totally another indicator for me about Dean. But Dr. Sexy is the bigger one for me.

eta: Cass, I just read that fic, and oh, god. It killed me.

Because books.

Or that incident with the siren, which had to be an eyebrow-raiser given their usual M.O.

Heh. Also true about Dr. Sexy! I stand corrected.

Also, my own typo in There's a lot "I don't swing that way" is now making me CRAZY. But it's been copied too often!

I need a proofreader.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I interrupt this discussion to bring Misha being hot.

There are a pair of Supergirl boy-cut briefs in that shot. That I recognize, as I own them. Also, DAMN. Hi, hotass.

You also saw his "Ooh Dr. Sexy!" face, though, didn't you? That was the same face JA uses for Dean and boobies.

Totally.

Oooh, this (gen) was an amusing outsider perspective.

and oh, god. It killed me.

So much.

Also, DAMN. Hi, hotass.

So so much.

From Cass's link.

A good outsider POV makes me fall in love so hard. And that totally did.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

Ehab, here it is: [link]

Thank you! I got three great links while hoping for one.

I never gave much thought to my fic wishlist but I am now :).

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Every once in a while I type up something about how I really don't see Sam or Dean as any shade of bi but then I delete it because I feel nobody else cares. But I've had a bit of whisky and I'm thinking about lurkers who are maybe thinking they are crazy for not seeing the broyay. So because I care so much about the lurkers I will state for the record that I don't see it.

And now... more whisky.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Aha! Outsider POV that I lovelovelove.

Cass, the one with the knife is probably the most gutting pre-series fic ever. Destina wrote an excellently written Devil's Trap AU that's just as awful to contemplate. In the Night Country. Harrowing. Link is to part one, part two is linked at the bottom of the page.

Crow on the Cradle is a multichap S1 AU where Sam disappears, Jess lives, and she, Dean, and John trail Sam all over the country trying to find him. Missouri makes an appearance, as well. If Refur wasn't such a fabulous writer this would unravel fast. But in her capable hands it's a very good AU. Next chapter linked.
