So Sam/Lucifer is Lex Luthor?
I agree that this is designed to get Dean to say Yes to Michael, but the answer is for Sam and Dean to join forces again.
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

JP is giving me chills. Who could know being nice and quiet and calm could be so fucking scarey.
I would like to know what they'd use as Sam's reason for saying yes to Lucifer. I don't think Sam believes any more that he's strong enough to defeat Lucifer, but I could see him caving if he thought it would somehow save Dean or the rest of humanity.
Dude, it's very creepy how well he sold that story.
They both rocked that scene. And man, there was NO Sam in there at all. Well played, JP.
This would be why I lurk--because all I'm going to say is that JP did an amazing job in that scene, the mannerisms, everything--no trace of Sam.
However, I've always wanted to do a Watch and Post--so, uh, ditto to Amy and SailAweigh.
My eyes! my eyes!!
Oh man, was anyone else expecting Sam to just suddenly turn and knife him?
Uh, just a little bit.
I was suddenly completely convinced that's what was going to happen, Ailleann! Thank god it didn't.
And welcome, lwadams! Stay, post!
I was afraid Sam was going to try to be all stoic and change his mind--"Thank you, really ... Thank you. But you were right." Phew.
