Dude, it's very creepy how well he sold that story.
They both rocked that scene. And man, there was NO Sam in there at all. Well played, JP.
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

This would be why I lurk--because all I'm going to say is that JP did an amazing job in that scene, the mannerisms, everything--no trace of Sam.
However, I've always wanted to do a Watch and Post--so, uh, ditto to Amy and SailAweigh.
My eyes! my eyes!!
Oh man, was anyone else expecting Sam to just suddenly turn and knife him?
Uh, just a little bit.
I was suddenly completely convinced that's what was going to happen, Ailleann! Thank god it didn't.
And welcome, lwadams! Stay, post!
I was afraid Sam was going to try to be all stoic and change his mind--"Thank you, really ... Thank you. But you were right." Phew.
oof. these boys wreck me on a daily basis.
JP totally nailed creepy ass mo-fo and it's just not a brother on brother confrontation without Dean's one, lonely man tear.
I thought both of them played the differences so well -- JP going from Lucifer to Sam in that last scene, and JA playing the differences between now!Dean and future!Dean, which were really subtle.
It's always jarring to see previews for a wacky, MotW episode after something like this, but maybe we can assume Zachariah needs some time to regroup with his troops?
I have tried writing a post three times and get stuck in the GAH, BOYS and the ACTING and the HEARTBREAK. Must rewatch. Glad I'm working from home tomorrow.
Also glad next week looks like a lighter episode. Yes, the preview was jarring tonight, but they need some lightness.
