The pee poop smells don't get overly horrid until they start on solid food. I mean, it isn't roses...but worth the new baby smell, at least for me.
No gifs of that yet? I want it on instant repeat.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

The sleepy portion where they smell nice is quiet, yes, and one of the nicest feelings in the world. Complete peace was very often, for me, lying on the sofa with an infant asleep on my chest and his/her head close enough to sniff.
Which is not as weird as that makes it sound, I swear.
I am such a sucker for boys with beards.
Wow, rare-pair: Ellen/Gabriel.
Man, I kept reading this fic because it was so bad it wasn't really a fic, more a list of words, and near the end of what's been written so far I git a real gem:
“Hey Dean, It’s me Cas. I just-“ Cas deleted the message and looked at his breath in the air. It hung there, like a small cloud. Which is technically what it was, but Cas didn’t feel like being technical.
AO3 doesn't let you keep notes on people like LJ, but somehow I think I will remember to avoid this person. She had Sam die of a burn on his leg after losing his last hope when he found out Jess died. Dena [sic] is very upset, but Gabe tells Cas to leave him for a couple of days before checking on him. Since Sam's not been in the story (strong term for the list of words) until she killed him, enh.
Anyone going to do GISHWESHES?
I'm still fascinated by Teenchesters. I'm imagining Dean telling Sam how to pull--because Sam asked because Dean is clearly good at getting anyone's attention he wants? Because Dean decides Sam's social life is missing? And Dean has this bullshit PUA shit that basically works for him because he's gorgeous, lethal, and nurturing, and will encourage you to have a screaming good time. His "game" is nothing other than that much of him being transparent.
Under the Dome had a shot of Colin Ford looking over his shoulder embarassed about a girl, and even though I draw from mini-J2 for the Weechesters, he can't help but inspire me (his growth spurt is pretty impressive-does he have a little brother than can fill the shoes he's outgrown?).
So I'm mocking up this [link] (I'll pull out references, etc, while not being infused with painkillers) and I imagine Dean saying something like "Eyes forward, Samzilla. Even for the mating dance of the lesser speckled booby nerd it's too early to be ogling her that much. Act cool, and talk to her like a normal human being tomorrow."
My other "I'll work on it in the hospital, Amy, I'll have plenty of free time" is way sadder and more complicated and maybe I won't actually do it here.
I think you could save the other one for later, definitely. It'll demand some serious focus.
I love the one you're working on! Samzilla! Heh. Oh, DEAN.
I don't even know if the time Sam starts getting tall even makes sense. But tall at fifteen or sixteen and getting Dean's help works, right?
I also have this conviction that Dean had Jensen's hairstyles, and Sam is stuck on the least "high and tight" haircut Dean ever had--it's hard to draw, though, without doing young Jensen's face really well.
I would think by 16 he'd be at least *as* tall as Dean.
What do you mean by Dean having Jensen's hairstyles, though? Jensen has had pretty long hair on occasion, and I can't imagine Dean with anything but the semi-military thing he has going on now.
Did you read the story of how Dean got his knife? If memory serves, that's also how he got his haircut, and maybe some facial bruising in sparring with his father--I have the fanon that he was as pretty as Jensen with the floppy twinky hair that Sam basically kept (but it was never as twinky on him), until there was a come to Jesus (away from the pedos) realisation on John's part that might never have been voiced (but Dean worked out) that put an end to all that.
