Book: Yes, I'd forgotten you're moonlighting as a criminal mastermind now. Got your next heist planned? Simon: No. But I'm thinking about growing a big black mustache. I'm a traditionalist.

Because books.

Completely random: I keep thinking of Sam telling Dean he's a genius, and the expression on both of their faces, and trying not to melt. BOYS.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Judging by the liver being eaten, I'm guessing Prometheus?

MY HEART. Oh, Dean. That last scene was a killer.

I clearly had forgotten a lot of the Promethesus story, because it didn't seem familiar at all at first. But I love Sam fast-talking and taking chances. The spitting blood is worrying, though. But at least he's talking to Dean about it a little, in a vague way?

Oh! And Dean's comment about a guy who fights like Jason Bourne, dies a lot, and has a history with violent women being Sam! Heh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, if that guy isn't Sam, it's Dean.

THAT FUCKING HURT. I have to work tonight, and I'm not feeling it. That hit me 1-2-3. I thought I was good, decently inured to Artemis' angst, but the pyre gutted (NPI) me, and then the kid (who I knew would talk--I didn't know what he would say...) and then the praying and the where are you--I think I will avoid my Tumblr dash for a bit.

I really wasn't expecting any Old God shit to work on me, even if it worked for me. I got who it was probably from the trailer, definitely from the bird, and it was all sufficiently poignant. I didn't expect it to be effectively also.

Kudos.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Also a minor point: Naming the Episode "Remember the Titans" was genius. It made me expect a comedy episode though. But Show often uses puns in the names of serious episodes, so that was totally on me.

Why did that make you think comedy? The film "Remember The Titans" was a sports flick, wasn't it?

I just realised properly that when I click on a tumblr and the owner is 19, they were 11 when show started.

I'm okay with 19 year olds--I like them more than most people my age, but the concept of 11 back then freaks me out...

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The show is only a few months older than my child.

I started watching right as S2 started.

I have been in this fandom for most of her life.

Oh wow. That's a little freaky.

Sara probably doesn't remember life before Mommy talking about Sam and Dean, come to think of it.

Dan Loflin favorited one of my tweets and replied to another. May I have my Shameless Fan Girl Merit Badge now?

I have done nothing of note with the last ten or so years of my life, so there's nothing to clock that by. Ho hum.

I didn't even know you could favourite tweets--I'm so unlooped. My fangirl activities seem to be exclusively arrayed around defending John. John who I think is an alcoholic who used beatings to discipline his kids, but hey! I don't think either or both of those mean you have to be a bad person, father, and especially character. And I don't think the canon or the boys think so either. Amy, you take the front line, and I'll fan here in the back.
