Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There are many things or ways that Dean is never going to feel, never going to describe himself as feeling, and "non-conned" is totally one of those.

Neither real people nor people on TV shows (save maybe Abed, maybe) talk that way.

Okay, I already looked at the tags of a few of these posts, and it's not helping. Where's this: [link] from again?

Oh! And this: [link] ?

Because books.

Zombie-ghost orgy is from It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester, and the stick figure drawing is from Dead in the Water.

"Non-conned" like ... raped?

Okay, that was Dean's drawing he was showing to Lucas?

Metaphorically raped, I guess. She really just meant "forced". "Non-conned" was totally jarring.

Because books.

Yeah, Dean's picture.

I knew rape wasn't exactly what I wanted, but for whatever reason I couldn't come up with coerced.

I'm wondering why I can remember Lucas and Andrea Barr, and I can't remember what picture Dean drew. I remember all of Sam's drawings! (inconsistent as they are...)

Because you're a bad, bad fan, I assume.

Because books.

I wonder how long the corn syrup problem is going to last when S8 starts. Or if we know how far it had spread.

Read a post-S7 story where Sam lists Don Stark as a possible ally, and I wonder if that could be true. Of course, I had to look up who he was first, but still. I could see it, although I bet they won't go there. Between Garth and Jody Mills and the Alpha and Crowley and Meg, we already have a lot of recurring characters.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Yeah, Amy, that was a thought that crossed my mind: whatever happens with the remaining Leviathans, the shit they put into production is going to remain in society for awhile. Hell, unless the company goes under, their legacy could continue with unsuspecting employees manufacturing their cattle-feed sucrose until some human steps in and changes the formula. Then again, if the greater populace didn't notice the sudden dumbing down of fellow citizens, they probably will continue to not notice (or maybe everyone but the vegans and organic/free-range/all-natural consumer noticed).

New hunters are born, and they're all vegetarians. Dean will be appalled. Yet understanding.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I never understood why Sam & Dean never tried to make the Starks allies. Yeah, not exactly safe. But they know how to put Leviathans under with a short spell. Hell, at the very least they could have found something Don wanted in return for teaching them the spell!
