Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel here. I could reread quality, but instead I find myself forcing my way through fics with angry jealous Sam who wants to be #1 in Dean's life and resents Cas, and stupid shit like that.

Plus, what I seriously hope is ESL or a writing disability of some sort, and not a failure of the educational system. Still, whatever the reason, a beta, please?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

One time, I saw someone thank her betta.

Sadly, she wasn't talking about her fish.

True facts.

But, you know, there was that week where I ran out of rentboy fic, exhausted the angsty noncon tag on delicious, and wound up reading all the daddycest before hitting the half-million word Dean/Castiel mpreg (also containing Sam/Ruby procreation). Sometimes, I just hit bottom and read ALL THE CRAP.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm "only" at the point of being casual with side pairings, but suddenly D/C is the side pairing, and Gabriel is a pining AU virgin for the more experienced Sam, and I feel there's no way to make it right without hurting myself, so I go back for the fics where I can't even understand the English of the summary...good god, Jollysnidge, write something and put me out of this misery. It doesn't have to be brilliant, it just has to be not the rest of this stuff.

I converted my husband to SPN.

I would like my toaster, please.

Or, you know, some of that Giles/John fic Amy's been threatening/promising.

Er...is there any good Buffy/SPN x-over fic out there?

I ask this with some temerity. I don't know if I want the answer to be yes or no...

ita, did you know that scaramouche posted her first post-fic timestamp for "It's Always the End of the World Somewhere"? [link]

It's short, but a nice alternative to diving into the badfic.

Daw.

This is what I miss with non-LJ archives: the ability to tag an author for email updates. Having posted fic there (on LJ), I can understand the distaste. It's an aggravating hassle. But still, I miss it when authors leave.

Seriously, where has the good fic gone?

ION, two days!

Sam's look of glee as he dashed off in the sneak peak was delightful. Also, weird.

Thanks, Matt! I thought I had alerts set up for her. I don't know what's up with that.

eta: I should be rereading her fic, is what I should be doing. It's at the top of the pile of emotionally satisfying, intriguing, and hot.

Because books.

Speaking of fic mistakes, I just opened one where they're squatting in an empty house. And Dean is OPENING THE DOOR WITH A KEY. Um, logic here, please?

Because books.

Whoops.

I read one where they'd lucked upon an abandoned house that still had water and Dean was trying to shower before all the hot water was gone. So apparently the author thinks a hot water heater will keep its contents hot indefinitely despite no one paying for electricity.

Also, one where police tried not to be too optimistic to the parents of a missing child and began to suspect they might not find him after he'd been missing for a year. Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...
