Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think kink has come to mean taste in fic oftentimes. It's very imprecise but I'm likely guilty too. Though I think I usually say flavor.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

consumer

Yeah, I can see that. And it turned out that it wasn't related to my fic. I guess it's tender for me because one of the early conversations I had going into this story was "am I treating an asexual character as a priest kink or "let's turn the straight boy gay! kink"" and I realized that I didn't want to do that, that I wanted to treat it straight. The kink of convincing a person to go against their sexual preferences wasn't what I was personally going for, in the end, but I can see it, and have read it and loved it. I guess I just wish that there was also a tag that didn't include the word "kink". But, hell, glasses are in there. And slash itself is the biggest kink of all, for the most part turning canonically straight characters gay or bi.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, what your brain does on its own time is no one's business but your brain's.

You say that like you're not FORCING me to think disgusting things when I'd rather be working out how to save puppies and unicorns.

I ended up buying the shirt. I'm pretty much a soft touch when it comes to wearing shirts that don't out me except to people who already are in.

Because books.

I didn't love Samuel Colt's face being so prominent, but it's a great shirt.

I'd rather be working out how to save puppies and unicorns.

Uh huh.

Well, you could make your point by making me think disgusting things that are within my personal kink zone. Then you'd totally be right and I'd totally be wrong.

Dare you.

Yeah, yeah, I'm working on it.

Someone's gotta save me. You ever read a fic so bad you figure it's a prank? I think I'm in trufax pain from this one:

Balthazar kept stoking Castiel’s cook until Castiel come in pleasure

Needless to say, that's not an isolated turn of leaden phrase or bad grammar.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

His cook? So Cas likes to watch and has a personal chef?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I wonder if that was written by the same person who wrote the Angelus/Everyone rapefic where Angelus tears Connor's bowls.
