You do well to flee, townspeople! I will pillage your lands and dwellings! I will burn your crops and make merry sport with your more attractive daughters! Ha ha ha! Mark my words! Ooh! Ale! I smell delicious ale!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I converted my husband to SPN.

I would like my toaster, please.

Or, you know, some of that Giles/John fic Amy's been threatening/promising.

Er...is there any good Buffy/SPN x-over fic out there?

I ask this with some temerity. I don't know if I want the answer to be yes or no...

ita, did you know that scaramouche posted her first post-fic timestamp for "It's Always the End of the World Somewhere"? [link]

It's short, but a nice alternative to diving into the badfic.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Daw.

This is what I miss with non-LJ archives: the ability to tag an author for email updates. Having posted fic there (on LJ), I can understand the distaste. It's an aggravating hassle. But still, I miss it when authors leave.

Seriously, where has the good fic gone?

ION, two days!

Sam's look of glee as he dashed off in the sneak peak was delightful. Also, weird.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, Matt! I thought I had alerts set up for her. I don't know what's up with that.

eta: I should be rereading her fic, is what I should be doing. It's at the top of the pile of emotionally satisfying, intriguing, and hot.

Because books.

Speaking of fic mistakes, I just opened one where they're squatting in an empty house. And Dean is OPENING THE DOOR WITH A KEY. Um, logic here, please?

Whoops.

I read one where they'd lucked upon an abandoned house that still had water and Dean was trying to shower before all the hot water was gone. So apparently the author thinks a hot water heater will keep its contents hot indefinitely despite no one paying for electricity.

Also, one where police tried not to be too optimistic to the parents of a missing child and began to suspect they might not find him after he'd been missing for a year. Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...

Yeah, there was running water in this house, too. @@

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

to be fair to that author, that crappy My Bloody Valentine movie with Jensen, there was a scene where they ran to a shed in the woods and there was a key hidden for it. i went with a bunch of girlfriends and we all said in unison, "there's a key to the shed?!".

so he/she is at least as good as that screenwriter.

You're damning with faint praise there, babe.

SHOW tonight! It's almost hard to believe. Must double-check that DVR is set.
