I feel quite certain that Ruby is pursuing an ultimately malevolent agenda with Sam.
It seems like the only likely motivation, honestly. In which case, I'm going to be pissed if it's true and Sam has doggedly decided to ignore ALL THE SIGNS. Like, persuading him to use her as a personal drinking fountain of Demonic Power! I mean, come on, Sam.
And yet, I feel like the writers have to know how suspicious she looks, so they *have* to have another plan up their sleeves.
Of course, believing that is the path to madness, so.
I actually think it would be better writing to have her agenda be pretty much as claimed.
But I'm betting that the people who think she has an agenda bound in nunskin are right.
Vid lovers, I just discovered and watched this. I like it a lot. It reminds me of my perennial favorite SPN vid, Passenger Seat, though this one is a broader canvas, a wider focus.
ETA: I linked to the vidder's LJ. You can get the YouTube link there, also a dl link, and leave fb, if you like.
Help!
Does anyone remember the name of the woman who helped care for Dean and Sam after Mary's death? This may have been in the comics, but I seem to remember hearing a name somewhere that was canon.
Anyone?
I don't recall any mention of such a person in canon.
Okay, in the comic book Origins, there's a Julie who was Mary's best friend and they are staying with her after the fire.
Vid lovers, I just discovered and watched this.
Excellent vid. Very heartwarming and really drove home the fundamentals of Show: the brothers. Thank you for the link, Beverly!
Mike and Katie, um. Thing. The partner in the garage who called CPS on John.
ETA: Mike and Katie Guenther. John and the boys stayed with them a few days after the fire. Scroll down to the entry for November 17.
How cool! I had no idea that information was wiki-fied!
missyjack has done a superhuman job of organizing everything. There's masses of info, including the latest links to con transcripts, photos, and vids. And now twitters, too. It's an amazing resource.
I will have to dig through further! I love that kind of detail. :-)
