IO9 did a listing of SFF's best handguns, and the Colt made the list. The number of people in the comments mentioning that it was written off the show (2) surprises me. Again, why are you commenting on canon if you know you're not up to date? The article even says we met Sam Colt last week.

The Colt is an AWESOME gun. I love the weird symmetry of them having Colt's gun but not being *those* Winchesters, too.
