Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Because books.

I think the average guy doesn't have a visible iliac crest.

Yeah, that's not something I generally see.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Even at krav it wasn't guaranteed.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

That's why it's so yummy when you find it in person.

I would call it a fetish, but since technically a fetish is finding sexual pleasure from a non sexual object, I submit that it is an adoration.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Misha, in a Russian interview, explains exactly why Uriel is considered the funniest in the garrison:

Farts are funny to angels. Uriel farts the most.

or, from google translator of the original text:

When the gases are allowed - the angels laugh. And Uriel blew most of all.

which is even more awesome

Fart and farm animal jokes. Oh Angels. [link]

Cute interview, Misha being Misha, not spoilery.

Because books.

He's such a trip.

Q: You have played various roles. Paul Bernardo in "Karla" , Manny Skerritt in "Nip/Tuck" , Dave in "Finding Home" , Alexis Drazen in"24", Vlad in CSI:LV, Morton in CSI:NY, Doctor Jacob in "Stonehenge Apocalypse" and, of course, Castiel. We wonder how you choose roles, what you are guided by. Which of your characters is the closest to you?

Definitely Dr. Jacob Glazer is closest to me, because he singly handedly saved the entire world. But Castiel is pretty close to me too, because both of us can travel through time and teleport and read people's minds.

Q: If you hadn't got into acting, what would you do for a living? What else do you like to do except acting? Any hobbies?

If I hadn't gone into acting, I would be a horse trainer or a tunnel digger or a swan.

Italics mine.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

some of the differences between the website's English translation and Google's is amusing.

Google: "I do not care" Website: "I don't give a f***"

Google says "bard" instead of the website's "swan"

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Could they, you know, understand what he was saying during the interviews? Or was it translated after the fact. Because just leaving those responses at that is a wasted opportunity.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Questions were collected on a forum, it seems. And it's explicitly stated that Misha actually writes in Russian a response to the fans at the end, so I'm assuming the rest of his answers were in English, and possibly not asked/responded to in real-time. *shrugs*

But, oh yes, the follow-up potential!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I love the look on his face in that wedding photograph. It's so consummately creeper. Yes, he will sneak into your bedroom and rape and kill you. Is there a question?

Because books.

Wow, I scrolled right by that. And then I was distracted by her super!80s! bangs.

Way to skeeve, Misha. Excellent work.
