Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I figure if you kill anyone, the will come back. You just lessen the chance of sex.

And I don't think I'm freaky enough for brothers. Give me call when it becomes an issue.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

wait, why is there killing?! Stop the killing!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

rewatching Dark Side of the Moon.

Question: why didn't Roy and Walt salt'n'burn Dean and Sam? Especially after Dean saying he was coming back pissed?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Ooh. Good question. Maybe the gunshots drew attention before they could do more than skedaddle? But then, wouldn't the bodies have been discovered? Hmm...

Maybe they panicked and ran because of witnesses, but nobody actually care to call that heard the shots? Or maybe Sam and Dean were returned to their bodies within moments of Roy and Walt skidaddling?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That works.

I don't think salting and burning would have helped. Anna's plan was much more drastic than that.

Because books.

Wait, but Anna's plan wasn't in Dark Side. That was Song Remains the Same, I think.

I would venture that since Roy and Walt were obviously planning to kill them execution-style, they just planned to get out quick and avoid the dirty work.

I know. I'm just saying if they planned to stop them coming back, they didn't have the tools at their disposal. Anna was going nuclear.

But even as I think about it, why would Roy and Walt salt and burn the bodies? A hunter's funeral seems to be something done out of respect for the person passing.

Oh, gotcha.

Bobby always salts and burns victims, too, but that's Bobby. At least he did in Magnificent Seven and the zombie one.
